Posted by Dmitry under General
IBM’s has recently launched a new advertising campaign centered around innovation. The campaign’s use of OpenLaszlo, a Rich Internet Application (RIA) platform developed by Laszlo Systems, highlights IBM’s increased embrace of RIA technologies. Here are some other examples of IBM’s use of OpenLaszlo:
- IDEforLaszlo is an Eclipse-based development environment for creating, editing, debugging, and testing OpenLaszlo applications, jointly developed by IBM and Laszlo Systems.
- The Emerging Technologies Toolkit (ETTK) is a “collection of technologies from IBM’s software development and research labs that have special relevance to IBM’s emerging software strategy”. The ETTK includes an OpenLaszlo-powered technology navigator to help users “get a quick sense of each ETTK technology”.
