Bob Sutor Interview in ComputerWorld
Posted by Sim' under Interviews
ComputerWorld have published an interview with IBM’s Bob Sutor where he talks about the mounting interest in open-source software.
Eric Lai writes “Bob Sutor, IBM’s vice president of standards and open-source, sees 2006 as the year when a number of industries will move to embrace open-source software — and he expects IBM to play a role in many of those efforts.”
Bob answers questions such as “What markets will embrace open-source this year?”, “Do you still hold out hope that we’ll someday see an open-source Java?”, “What’s your prognosis for Linux on the client, especially now that virtualization technologies may give it a boost?”, and other general discussions on OpenDocument.
