IBMeye was started by b5media in 2005 with the goal of creating a way for an outsider to gain some understanding of the complex goings-on at IBM.  Between research and patents, software products, open source initiatives, consulting, chip manufacturing and more, a casual outsider has little chance to wrap their arms around this organization.  By providing some commentary on the news, with occasional features talking about things that the news isn’t, IBMeye gives you IBM in a nut shell.

IBMeye History

IBMeye began in 2005 with IBMer Sim Hampel as the lead blogger for b5media.  Sim left in early 2006 and IBMer Dmitry Nekrasovski took over briefly.  In mid-2006, Greg Stierle took over the blog from b5media and has been solely responsible for its content and development since then.
