Caterpillar’s James W. Owens elected to IBM Board of Directors

James W. Owens, CEO of Caterpillar Inc., has been elected to the IBM Board of Directors - to take effect on the 1st March, 2006.
James has been in charge at Caterpillar since January 2004, having been an employee since 1972.

IBM Stock Dividend

The board of directors at IBM has indicated the next dividend payment to shareholders will be $.20 per common share, payable March 10, 2006 to stockholders of record February 10, 2006.
