IBM is Microsoft’s biggest rival
There’s been a flurry of reporting on Bill Gate’s speech from CES last week - mostly simply quoting the Reuters article about IBM being Microsoft’s biggest competitor.

New eWeek IBM blog: IBM Watch
eWeek has a new blog: IBM Watch, written by Stan Gibson, who apparently has been covering IBM as a journalist for around 20 years.
It will be interesting to see what news Stan comes up with, and what his take on that news is.

Goldman Sachs still rating IBM “outperform”
An article in Forbes magazine the other day mentioned that Goldman Sachs are still rating IBM high, and are downplaying suggested concerns about low services bookings.

IBM Australia aquires Classic Blue
Well - Big Blue bought Classic Blue. This is another Australian acquisition for IBM Global Services, it wasn’t long ago that they purchased Logicalis, the local arm of a global network services company specialising in VoIP technology.
